How you opt in

When you book a shopping appointment on the Teacher Reuse site, you enter your mobile number and tick a box. The box is not ticked for you — if you leave it alone, we do not text you, and your booking works exactly the same.

The opt-in, exactly as it appears when you book

Teacher ID# (from your registration email)

Mobile

Optional. Text me about this shopping day — nothing else. We text you to confirm your place and time, to call you in if you are waiting in the walk-in queue, and when your shopping time is nearly up. We will also text you if we have to cancel your slot. That is the only thing your number is ever used for.
We never sell, rent or share your number, and we never text you about fundraising, donations or events. Leave this box unticked and your booking works exactly the same.

Examples of the three routine messages

Teacher Reuse: you're in the queue for Sat Aug 1 at 10am. Code TR-4K7Q. Bring your school ID. Reply STOP to opt out.

Teacher Reuse: you're up! Come on in — you have [minutes] minutes to shop.

Teacher Reuse: [minutes] minutes left in your shopping time. Please make your way to the checkout desk to finalize.

How often

2–3 text messages on your shopping day only. We do not send marketing, newsletters, fundraising appeals or recurring campaigns to this number. These SMS messages are ONLY for facilitating the queue on shopping day.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Teacher Reuse does not charge you anything — the store is free to teachers — but your mobile carrier may charge you for receiving text messages, depending on your plan.

Stopping messages, and getting help

Reply STOP to any message and we will not text that number again.
Reply HELP for help, or contact us directly using the details below.
You can also just leave the box unticked when you book, or ask a volunteer at the desk.

Opting out of texts does not affect your registration, your appointment, or your ability to shop.

Your number

We use your mobile number only to send the messages described above. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else’s marketing. If you tell us not to text you, we do not keep the number for messaging.
